Gefassreicher Korper as well as the "Lymphbildungsraum" and the phallus is identical with the relation between those and the penis in the drake, and these organs are communicated with each other by means of lymphatic sinuses in the fowl, so that both organs are considered to be the accessory organs of the phallus in the domestic fowl. In the "second fold" (so called by Masui et al. in 1925) of the cloaca, the writer found two triangular or spindle shaped folds, these lying on the outside of the "round folds" (Masui et a1., 1925) one on each, which are the labia minora (Hasimoto, 19:10), and the fold being about 2.8 x 1.2 mm. in size. The triangular or spindle shaped folds are named "Lymph-folds" by the present writer. The lymph-fold consists of simple columnar epithelium and loose connective tissue. Many lymphatic sinuses are found in the connective tissue, and the sinuses are communicated with lymphatic sinuses in the phallus as well as with those in the connecting portion of the "Gefassreichem Korper" with the phallus. Thus, these organs belong to one and the same system with the phallus as well as the "Gefassreichem Korper", so the lymph-fold may be looked upon as an accessory organ of the phallus. In the 3-month-old cockerel, the "Gefassreicher Korper" is light pink colored body and 8 mg. in weight. During the growth period of the bird, the "Gefassreicher Korper" gradually increases in its weight finally reaching about 27 mg. and the shade of color is also intensified becoming red in the adult cock. The "Gefassreicher Korper" is, under histological investigation, a lymphoid tissue containing many blood capillaries which are filled with blood cells. In the castrated bird or capon, all of the "Gefassreichem Korper", phallus, and lymph-fold degenerate; thus, capons had "Gefassreichen Korper" with capillaries almost disappeared as if a few of them were found and contained none of blood cells, under histological investigation.
