The results of hyperthermia in the malignant tumors were reviewed. It is well known that hyperthermia enhances the effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy for cancer patients. The clinical study on h...yperthermia has been performed in the world since 1975. Several randomized clinical study revealed the benefits of hyperthermia in the head and neck cancers, recurrent breast cancers, and uterine cervical cancers. However, there are many difficulties to perform the hyperthermia in Japan because of lack of man-power and financial aid. Further clinical trials were recommended to obtain the evidences of hyperthermia.続きを見る
