Since the 2000's e-learning has been promoted as a policy in Thailand. Although computer installation and equipment distribution have progressed, the development of electronic teaching materials, as w...ell as the utilization e-learning for training teaching staff have not advanced. Thailand has sufficient hardware for e-learning, but not the software required. Both a field survey and a questionnaire were conducted in the north area, northeast area, center/south area and metropolitan Bangkok area. The surveys focus on ICT utilization at institutes of higher education that offer Japanese-language education, across the major regions mentioned above. They will be valuable in analyzing ICT user conditions in current Japanese-language institutions, identify different trends, and help us consider the future utilization of ICT where Japanese-language education in Thailand is concerned.続きを見る
