概要 |
In order to clarify the high-temperature deformation mechanism in crystalline materials, a new method of determining whether the effective stress is appreciable or not is proposed, and the method is a...pplied to several materials including pure aluminum, pure molybdenum, A1-5.4 at % Mg alloy, titanium carbide and Mo-TiC eutectic composite. It is found that the effective stress is negligible in the pure metals and the composite, while the stress is appreciable in the alloy and the carbide.
