概要 |
For estimating the operating characteristics of microthruster propulsion or low density wind tunnels, the detail structures of a supersonic nozzle flow field should be known. The main purpose of the p...resent research is to make the experimental investigations on the boundary layer structures of neutral and charged particles in the low density supersonic nozzle. The low density arc heated wind tunnel was used for the experiments. Pressures of neutral particles were measured by the impact and static pressure tubes. Charged particle density and electron temperatures were also measured by a Langmuir probe. The new mass flux tube which utilized the orifice flow metering system was devised and tested in the rarefied supersonic nozzle flow. It was found that the local mass flux could be measured with reasonable accuracy by a mass flux tube of this type. The distribution of velocity, temperature, charged particle density and other flow properties in the nozzle were obtained through these measurements.続きを見る
