Housing Co-ops in Japan was established under the Consumer Cooperatives Act through the movement for affordable housing in 1960s and began to provide housing for labor with getting a loan from the Hou...sing Loan Corporation. They played a certain role as a housing builder on the initial housing market in postwar Japan. Workers' Housing Recommendation in 1961 and Japan Workers' Housing Association had an influence on the character of Housing Co-ops. This study based on the source research traced the establishment process of Housing Co-ops in detail and pointed out that their housing was the approach aimed at providing a house by Labor Unions and affected by Housing Cooperative.続きを見る
