概要 |
Differential absorption lidars(DIAL) at the infrared(IR) region are useful for the detection of trace molecules in the atmosphere. However, development of an IR-DIAL system is not so easy, because hig...h-power tunable lasers and good detectors can not be available in this wavelength region. In this paper, performances of a compact DIAL system to detect methane gas are analyzed by the laser radar equation at the wavelength of 1.66pm. In this wavelength, a new high-power tunable device using optical parametric oscillation and a high-performance InGaAs photodiode detector are available. Analytical simulation shows that a compact methane DIAL system can be constructed with a detectable range of 600m and a sensitivity of 100ppm in a spatial resolution of 30m. This system is useful for monitoring of methane gas leak accident in a factory or a chemical plant.続きを見る
