Two new diterpenoids named sciadin and methyl sciadopate and a new sesquiterpenoid, cryptomeridiol have been isolated from the heartwood of Sciadppitys verticillata Sieb. et Zuec. and from that of Cry...ptomeria japonica D. Don. respectively. Those chemical structure and stereochemistry have been determined as described in the paper. The structure of anhydrosciadin prepared from sciadin and the formation of the diosphenol obtained from interesting ozonolysis product of methyl sciadopate are also discussed. Methyl sciadopate has been related to agathic acid and cryptomeridiol to β-eudesmol.続きを見る
