構造の劣化のために，林道の切取りのり面で生産される，不安定土砂の動態を知ることは，下部構造の安全性，森林他の保全上，さらには，施設管理（ファシリティ・マネージメント）の上からも重要である．本研究では，切取りのり面からの崩落土砂の動態の特性について，のり面脚部（のり尻）に堆積している崩落土砂の特性の上から，検討を加え，次の結果をえた．①山腹斜面においては，表層に近い程ルーズな状態で土壌層が存在し，地...形的には，凸型の地形においても，予想外に土壌の発達が著しく，そこに切取りのり面が作設されれば，崩落土砂の生産源になる可能性は十分にある．②切取りのり面上で生産された不安定土砂は，随時崩落し，のり尻に堆積する．堆積した土砂層の断面形状は，各段階において，堆積の先端を起点として，のり尻に向かって，成長型の曲線状を呈する．そして，堆積量を増す方向へ経時変化を遂げ，最終的に安息勾配の斜面を形成する．③1断面こおいて，切取りのり面長と土砂堆積面の面積は比例する．すなわち，堆積土砂量は土砂生産源の大きさに比例する．④切取りのり面から崩落した土砂の到達距離は，切取りのり面長に影響されるが，その範囲には限界がある．到達距離は，のり面長約2mで0.5mを越す．それ以上になると，構造上崩落土砂は側構へ流入する可能性が生じる．また，のり高5m（この場合，のり面長は5．8mで，到達距離は最大で約1，3mになる）毎に布設する小段も，幅1mでは崩落土砂を停止できない場合も生じる，⑤路線形は，切取りのり面の形状に対応する．のり面の斜面形については，崩落土砂は，凹型斜面では集中し，凸型斜面では拡散する．しかし，凸型斜面での原地盤への切込み量は，相対的に他の斜面形に比し，大きく，土砂の生産数が著しく増すため，下方への影響は大きい．
This report deals with characteristics of soil movement from artificial cutting slopes along forest roads through the observation of deposit soil at the base of slopes. On hillsides, soil layers are looser, as they approach the surface. However convex type slopes have deep soil layers contrary to our expectations. Therefore there is a great amount of soil movement. First, soil movement from cutting slopes reaches at the end of the deposit on the road surface. Starting from the end of the deposit, the sectional profile of the surface of deposit shows growth curves toward the base of the slope. Finally the surface of the deposit becomes the angle of repose. The volume of soil movement is directly proportional to the length of the cutting slope. The arrival distance of soil movement is related to the length of the cutting slope, but there is an upper limit. It is greater than 0.5m when the length of the cutting slope is 2m, and may flow into side ditches along the forest road. Road alignment corresponds to the shape of the cutting slope. Soil movenment from convex type slopes spreads, but its volume is greater than for others. Therefore, soil movement from this slope type has a great impact on the lower sections of forest roads and forest land.続きを見る
