Abstract |
This paper describes the outline of the teaching Practice course of the Japanese Language at the Graduate School of Comparative Cultures and Societies, Kyushu University in 2004 and 2005, and reports ...the observed changes in the students’ understanding of the essential features and principles of the communicative language teaching. The students had a lot of difficulties both leading drills and offering communicative activities. However, after the completion of the teaching practice, the students analyzed their performance and successfully recognized what were needed to design much-desired meaningful drills and real communicative activities in the classroom. It was observed that the teaching Practice course deepened the students’ understanding of the communicative language teaching and enhanced the positive attitude toward failure.show more
