大学評価に関連する大学情報の収集と管理、活用の効率的方法について、既存のデータを再利用する観点から考察する。実践例として、学校基本調査のアーカイブデータをデータベース化した取り組みを紹介し、中規模の大学情報の収集管理について、活用を視野に入れた一般的な方法を論じる。
