| Abstract |
科学技術・学術審議会の学術情報基盤作業部会（2010年）及び学術情報委員会（2013年）による「審議のまとめ」をふまえ，主に大学図書館を対象に，図書館員の変わりゆく役割について考察する。現在の日本における大学や大学図書館が置かれている状況を整理したうえで，今後の図書館に起こり得る変革も視野に入れて，大学図書館員に求められる新たな期待と役割について説明する。また，九州大学が2011年に開設した「教材...開発センター」や大学院「ライブラリーサイエンス専攻」等の活動を紹介しながら，図書館員の人材育成・確保のための仕組みを構築する方法について述べ，最後に，図書館員の未来について展望する。
Focusing on academic libraries, this paper discusses the changing role of the librarian based on the "Summary of discussion" by the Science Information Infrastructure Working Group (2010) and the Scientific Information Committee (2013) in the Council for Science and Technology. After reviewing the current status of universities and academic libraries, we describe the new roles and the expectations required of academic librarians, considering the changes which may occur in the library of the future. It also discusses how to build the mechanisms for human resource development and securing of librarians, while introducing activities of "Innovation Center for Educational Resource" and "Department of Library Science" at Kyushu University.
